Gary Thomas Sharrow, age 61, of Grand Rapids, formerly of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly April 7, 2017. Gary was born September 23, 1955, son of the late Thomas and Edith Sharrow. He recently retired from the City of Grand Ra Read Obituary
Sparrow was a great friend of mine for over 40 years; he was kind and generous, and had a great sense of humor. Sparrow will always be remembered as a very caring and loyal guy who could never do enough for his friends; he will be sorely missed.
We will miss our good friend and neighbor here on Beechwood St NE in Grand Rapids. Gary was always so kind, generous, helpful, and friendly. He never had a bad word for anyone. He had many fun stories to tell about working for the City. We are saddened by his loss. But he is up in the best of places now. And that is where he deserves to be.
Always a smile and a hug from Gary. You will be missed. May you Rest in Peace, dear friend.

Gary was one of the nicest men we've ever known. He was our garbage man and a friend/coworker to my husband, Dan. He always stopped to chat and never had a bad thing to say about anybody. He was a good man and will be dearly missed.
