Gary Wayne Langell's Obituary
Gary Wayne Langell, age 80, of Columbus Twp. passed away May 27, 2021. He was born October 6, 1940 to the late Ralph and Marion Langell. Gary married Nina Freeman on May 8, 1965 and she preceded him in death on August 9, 2002. Upon graduating High School Gary joined the U.S. Navy, after his time serving his county he went on to work for Detroit Edison and then East China School District.
Gary’s true love was motorcycles, motorcycle racing and NASCAR. He enjoyed his wooden boats, but most of all he loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Denise (Gregg) Altimore; grandchildren, Austin, Jessica and Danielle; sister, Irene Lindeborg, along with several nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by his sister Doris Dudley; brothers, Donald Langell and Ralph Langell Jr.
A visitation will take place at Young Funeral Home on Monday June 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Clair County Humane Society. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
