Gary A. Kaatz's Obituary
Gary A Kaatz age 71 of Cottrellville Township passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born on December 20, 1949 to the late August and Marion Kaatz. Gary graduated from Marine City High School in 1968. He was Co- owner of Dave Sheets Aluminum Company for over 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his father’s farm where he grew up. He bowled on the men’s league in Saint Clair for 20+ years. Gary is survived by his wife for 52 years Terrie Kaatz, four children Garrick (Denise) Kaatz, Jamie (Holly) Kaatz, Angela Kaatz, Casey (Cori) Kaatz. Six Grandchildren - Lottie, Lily, Carter, Claudia,Gabby, and Aerie. One Great Grandchild - Rylee. Gary is also survive by two brothers Marvin and Darrin and three sisters Brenda, Connie, Cheryl. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, one great niece and two great nephews.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home China Township a celebration of life will be Friday, June 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Algonac Church of Christ. With a luncheon to follow at the church immediately after the service.
