Gary James Becker's Obituary
Gary James Becker, age 75, of Columbus Twp, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022. He was born January 31, 1947 to the late Donald and Marie Becker. Gary married Kathleen Becker on May 20, 1989, who preceded him in death on March 11, 2019. Gary worked for Chrysler for 40 years. In his spare time, Gary was an avid sailor and golfer. You would often find him doing those activities while smoking a cigar. Above all, he especially cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his children, Brandon (Candi) Becker, Jennifer (Vincent) Warren, Gary (Beth) Soggs; grandchildren, Ethan, Alexis, Owen, Courtney; siblings, Barbara, John, Mark, Peggy, Patrick, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Linda, Steve, and Chris.
A funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the wishes of the family.
