Gary L. Barto's Obituary
Gary L. Barto, age 85, of St. Clair formerly of Warren, passed away unexpectedly May 27, 2021. He was born January 23, 1936 in Detroit to the late Laurence and Katherine Barto. Gary worked for Fruehauf Trailer retiring after many years, after his tenure he went into Real Estate.
Gary enjoyed camping and boating. He was a member and president of Club Alpine for over 60 Years. Gary was involved with the St. Clair Cruisers which he considered his second family. He also loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 63 Years, Joan “Cookie” children, Bradley (Denise) Barto of Coral Springs, Florida, Christine Barto and Jill Barto of Burtchville, Michigan; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be Thursday June 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visitation will be Wednesday June 2, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
