Gary Michael Acre's Obituary
Gary Michael Acre of Cottrellville Township passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 74. Dear father of Scot (George Peters), Monica (J) Rizzo and the late Rachael Brown. Proud and loving grandfather of Abbigail, Marissa, Audrina, Austin and Avery. Cherished brother of Richard L. (the late Gloria) Ross, Marleen (the late Al) Bachand and Doreen (Gene) Varty. Gary enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting or trap shooting. He also loved bowling and spent many enjoyable hours at the alley with friends and family. For many years, Gary served as a Sunday school teacher at the Blue Water Church of the Nazarene in Marine City, where he found great joy in sharing his faith and teaching children. Above all, Gary cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. His grandchildren adored their “Grandpa Gary” and the memories they made together will be treasured forever. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 am on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Blue Water Church of the Nazarene, 111 West Blvd, Marine City, MI 48039.
