Gale Louise Meiselbaugh's Obituary
Gale Louise Meiselbaugh, age 73, of China Twp., passed away July 26, 2025 following a courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer. Gale was born March 12, 1952 in Grosse Pointe to the late Francis and Loralie David.
On August 19, 1972 Gale and Ron Meiselbaugh were married in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fair Haven. Gale was a dedicated Registered Nurse for many years. She served families in both St. Clair and Macomb Counties with love and compassion. Gale was also a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
Gale enjoyed preparing meals for family gatherings and making sure everyone had enough to eat. She looked forward to time together with children and grandchildren on family vacations. When at home, Gale enjoyed nurturing her plants, even naming a few from time to time.
During her nearly 53 years of marriage, Gale was blessed with a beloved husband, three loving daughters and their spouses and nine of the most special grandchildren any grandmother could ask for. As only a grandmother can do, Gale held a special place in her heart for each grandchild.
Gale is survived by her husband, Ron Meiselbaugh; daughters and sons in law, Keri and Chris Stevens, Michelle and Hrant Hratchian and Nicole and Jeremy Maurer; grandchildren, Hannah, Carter, Abigail, Colton, Weston, Grace, Connor, Jerron and Riley; siblings, Judy O’Brien, Kathy Gallagher, Larry (Donna) David and Charlene (Andy) Dupuis; sister in law, Donna Timmer and nieces and nephews.
Honoring Gale’s wishes a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Memorials in Gale’s name may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair or Blue Water Hospice Home or Blue Water Area Humane Society.
