If everyone had a friend like Gail, the world would be a tremendously better place.
Oh my dearest Gail, to know you is to love you. You will surely and sorely be missed. Love and condolences to the family.
Gail Force, In Memory
How do you describe a Force of Nature?
Certainly not “quiet”.
Powerful yes;
Quiet no.
Perhaps “awesome”. Yes that would do.
Certainly not “invisible”.
But maybe sometimes “awe-full”.
Never not noticed.
A presence and sometimes a present.
Certainly not small.
Definitely not “maid to order”,
Or a mold, mass produced.
“Unique” would work. An American Original.
Not off the rack, but sometimes creating a racket.
We can learn to live with a Force of Nature,
Accepting perhaps our inability to totally grasp,
To fully understand the energy that drives them.
Hopefully embracing their movement in and out of our lives.
We can learn to live without them,
If only we can borrow a little of their essence.
Just enough to “in-lighten”
But not enough to catch fire.

Gail
This song by the Doors is essential Gail. I wonder if Jim Morrison wrote it for her. She was "the queen of cool".
"Twentieth Century Fox"
Well, she's fashionably lean
And she's fashionably late
She'll never rank a scene
She'll never break a date
But she's no drag
Just watch the way she walks
She's a twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
No tears, no fears
No ruined years, no clocks
She's a twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's the queen of cool
And she's the lady who waits
Since her mind left school
It never hesitates
She won't waste time
On elementary talk
'Cause she's a twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
Got the world locked up
Inside a plastic box
She's a twentieth century fox, oh yeah
Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
Twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
Love you Gail. Cindy B

My memory of Gail will always be of a beautiful person, inside and out. To me she was a mentor, a role model, a co-worker and a friend. The first time I met Gail, was the first day of my internship in early September. She was walking and talking a mile a minute, with her hair done up in cornrow braids, asking me to save her some deserts from the cooking class I was doing that day. I knew then she was different than anyone else I had ever met, and I wanted to get to know this lady who appeared to be having so much fun all the time! She made our sometimes difficult and taxing jobs more enjoyable. She made me laugh, and made me cry. I am blessed to have known her for 3 years, and wish that I could have had more. The last few visits I had with Gail were the best, because we could be ourselves, and I will cherish them always. In her personal and professional life, she has touched and helped so many people. I know that she loved her family very much. Prayers to all her family and friends.
So saddened to hear about the passing of Gail. I was blessed to meet Gail a short time ago and she was a very dear client of mine at my salon.Prayers to the family.
