Frieda Liebetreu's Obituary
Frieda Liebetreu, age 92, of St. Clair, died October 17, 2009. She was born December 6, 1916 in Gotebo, Oklahoma to the late John and Dorthea Herman.
On April 3, 1944 Frieda Herman married Norman Liebetreu in Casco Twp. he preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a member of St. Matthews UCC, Adair.
She is survived by her sons;
James (Diane) Liebetreu and Keith (Kathy) Liebetreu.
Daughter in law; Esther Liebetreu
Grandchildren; Kim, Bryan (Tonya), Tod, Cori, Michael (Sue) Liebetreu, Jamie (Matt) Mackley, John, Keith Jr. (Selan) Liebetreu, Kari (Derrick) Evans, and Kristy Liebetreu.
16 great grandchildren, brothers; Robert Herman, Dick (Donna) Herman, sisters; Edna Hardy, Christine Trombley, Lily Simmons, and Betty Walters. Sister in law; Elverna Liebetreu, brother in law; Bill Topchov, many nieces and nephews, and caregivers; Donna, Cris, Courtney, Renee, St. John's Hospice caregivers; Jackie, Sally, and Joyce.
She was preceded in death by a son David Liebetreu, grandson Kurt Liebetreu, brother Albert Herman, sisters; Helen Geis, Emma Topchov, Louise Verbeke, and Esther Clark.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthews UCC, Adair. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and Wednesday 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to services.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthews UCC, Adair.
