Frederick J. "Fred" Stroich's Obituary
Frederick J. “Fred” Stroich, age 79, of Clyde Twp., passed away after a short illness on October 16, 2021. He was born June 27, 1942 in Norwich, New York to the late Alex and Mary Helen Stroich. Fred grew up in Upstate New York and after graduating high school he went to serve in the U.S. Airforce. He moved to Broomfield, Colorado where he lived for 30 plus years and worked for the Rocky Mountain News for 30 years until retirement. Fred spent the last 18 years in Clyde Twp., Michigan with his wife Cheryl.
Fred was an outdoorsman and loved Hunting, Fishing, Camping, and bull riding. He could fix just about anything, he had the Need for Speed owning many classic cars that he would fix up and modify to go fast, but most of all Fred loved the time he spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Cheryl; daughters, Kristine (Kirk) Hood, Stefannie Bonicelli; grandchildren, Austin (Hannah) Hood, Nicci (Chris) Walker, Brittany and Danielle Kerby; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Paul (Donna) Stroich; nephews, Steven (Robin) Stroich, Shawn (Heather) Stroich; great niece, Lilli Stroich; great nephew, Elias Stroich; along with loving family, Beth, Mark, Aubrey, Jess, Evan Kruzich and Rob and Christine Tate.
