Frank J. Senger's Obituary
Frank J. Senger, age 75, of East China Twp., passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on December 7, 2022, following a lengthy illness. He was born December 8, 1946 in St. Clair to the late Frank and Germaine Senger.
Frank proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On August 28, 1988, Frank married Patricia Kaufman. Frank was a previous co-owner of Marine City Nursery. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Assoc., (NCHA) National Cutting Horse Assoc. and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12, Port Huron. Frank had a passion for horses. His humble and gentle nature is how his family and friends will remember Frank. He was loved and highly respected by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Senger; daughters, Laura (Joe) Krantz and Lisa (Derek) McLane; grandchildren, Jacob and Avery Krantz and Lucy McLane; siblings, Carole Piper, Warren (Jeanne) Senger, Gail (Joe) Posey and Pat (Diane) Senger; sisters in law, Susie Senger and Harriet Senger and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings, Ronald Senger, Robert Senger, Julie Ann Caraway, Mary Bachler and Mike Senger.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday December 14th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish, Marine City, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 13th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass. A rosary recital will be Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
