Mrs. Fern Mary Sickle's Obituary
Fern Mary (Smith) Sickle, age 89, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Marine City, died peacefully April 14, 2012 surrounded by her family.
She was born August 16, 1922 in Detroit. On February 19, 1944 Fern M. Smith married Andrew T. Sickle. He preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by her children; Andrea (Tim) Hamet and David (Cathy) Sickle, grandchildren; Ian Hamet, Kyle (Hilary) Hamet, Mary (Scott) Wicke, James Holm and Heather Holm (Josh Wiesenauer), great grandchildren; Ty David Wicke and Lauren Fern Wiesenauer and a sister June Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will conducted Saturday April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel on Puttygut Rd. in East China Twp. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Sanctuary at Mercy Village or Blue Water Hospice.
