Erwin A. "Erv" Long, age 73, of Marine City died January 8, 2013. He was born to the late Avery J. and Muriel Long on January 17, 1939.
He is survived by his wife; Betty Long, children; Roxane (Kent) Wesch, Rodney Erwin Long, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Norma Wesley, Don (Helen) Long, Keith (Nancy) Long, Vern (Charlotte) Long, Judy (Bill) Wilczynski, David (Karen) Long, Shirley (John) Robinson, Duane (Jeannie) Long, Mary (Chuck) Brush, Tom Long, Diane Long, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by brother; Paul Long and grandson; Carl N. Solgot III.
Services will be held on Monday, January 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. www.youngcolonial.com
