Ernst A. Braun's Obituary
Ernst A. Braun passed away on July 11, 2018 in his home. He was born May 13, 1923 in Heidelberg, Germany. The son of the late William and Margarete Braun. He retired from the Kroger Co. after 42 years. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II as well as the Korean War. He was also a member of the Amvets Post 29 and The Old Crowd of Mt. Clemens
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Braun; sons, Daniel E. (Terry) Braun, Paul K. Braun, Mark R. Mullen; daughter, Marsha A. (Joseph) Stephenson; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Braun, ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine M. Braun; son, William H. Braun; and sister, Johannah Roskopp.
Cremation to take place according to his wishes and a private memorial for the family will be held at a later date, with burial at St. Peter Cemetery, Mt. Clemens. Memorials in his name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of choice. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
