Erin has always held a special place in my heart, and I have many sweet memories of her. I remember telling the class that when I was in fourth grade, my teacher told me I looked “sharp,” because I was wearing a new outfit. The next day, Erin came up to me and said, “You look very pointy today.” I gave her a questioning look. She responded by saying, “sharp means pointy. You look pointy today.” We both enjoyed a good laugh. I am so deeply saddened by her loss.
