Eric J. Corbat's Obituary
Eric J. Corbat, age 47, of Kimball passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2019. He was born May 3, 1972 to Gerald Corbat and Sharon (Lozowski) McCulloch. He graduated from Marine City High School in 1990. He later graduated ITT in 1998. Eric worked for Local 80 in sheet metal workers union for several years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Eric loved working in his yard, on his home, watching movies, cooking for his family and friends, going to concerts, play his drums, and going to his property up north.
He is survived by his parents; Sharon McCulloch and Gerald (Cynthia) Corbat; step-siblings, Shawn McCulloch, Joseph (Alecia) Corbat, Matthias (Karen) Corbat, Jason (Lisa Corbat, Daniel (Tessa) Corbat, Nathan Corbat; grandmother, Dolores Lozowski; godmother, Cindy Rombach, many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; special friend, Julia Shrum and her daughters, Trudy and Taylor; former wife, Connie Corbat; cats, Bailey and Kahlua, as well as many special friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius Lozowski, Florence and Joseph Corbat Sr., as well as cousins, Melissa Duvall and Valarie Gizar
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial service will take place Saturday, June 29 at 12 noon at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Blue Water Humane Society or the wishes of the family.
