Emil Hindy's Obituary
Emil Hindy, age 96, of Algonac, formerly of Detroit, died July 15, 2017. He was born April 26, 1921 in Highland Park, the fourth of eleven children. Emil served with rank of Tech Sergeant with the U.S. Army-Air Force during World War II. On August 7, 1955 he married Adma Abdo.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Adma Hindy; children, Loreen (Keith) Walter, Elias (Kristen) Hindy and David M.D. (Judy) Hindy; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Bud Hindy, Madeline Houghland and James Hindy and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is Thursday July 20th at 11 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Thursday 10 to 11 am at church prior to service.
