Ellen Lough's Obituary
Ellen Louise Lough, of China Twp., passed away February 18, 2010. She was born the daughter of Steve and Mable Culp. Ellen graduated from Remus High School, where she played varsity basketball and was in the band. She married Richard Lough September 23, 1950. Ellen lived in St. Clair for 47 years and worked for Carman Cleaners, Lock Cleaners, Angler Rod, Vacumet, and 20 years with Home Interiors and Gifts.
She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Lough. Daughters, Jan (John) McDonald, Jane (Gerry) Sargent, Jean (Joel) Coulthard, and Sally (Cash) Millard. 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jackie Sargent, 18 years old, brothers, Hubert, John, and Basil Culp, sister, Marie Cummings.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or St. John's Hospice.
