Ellen E. Heath's Obituary
Ellen E. Heath, age 76, of Marine City, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loved ones on September 21, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1949 to the late William and Margaret Damrau. Ellen was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, class of 1967. She went on to receive her nursing degree, working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 52 years. Ellen took great pride in her career and excelled in giving her patience the best care possible. She married Thomas C. Heath on June 13, 1969. Ellen was a longtime member at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. She looked forward to her Tuesday night ladies bowling league, bowling for Ruth’s Bowling Team for 40 years. Family was the center of her life. Ellen cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, loving grand mother and great grandmother. Ellen was a selfless woman, who put others need before her own. She never met a stranger; she loved being around her community. Her generous soul, love and compassion will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Heath; son, William Gerlad (Michelle) Heath; grandchildren, William (Bobbie) Heath, Elizabeth Heath, Ronnie Heath, Jamie (James Stanley) Heath; greatgrandchild, River Joseph Stanley; sister, Marilyn (Larry) Becker, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas C. Heath Jr.; sisters, Alicia Horvath, Peg Damrau, Carolyn Damrau.
