Elizabeth "Liz" Katherine Foley's Obituary
Elizabeth “Liz” Katherine Foley, age 34, of Marysville, MI, passed away unexpectedly October 5, 2023. Liz was born March 4, 1989 in the District of Columbia. On June 16, 2012 Liz married Daniel Foley.
Liz was a graduate of Port Huron High School in 2007. After receiving her Medical Assistant Certificate from Ross Medical, she started her career with the St. Clair County Health Department, WIC office in 2014.
Family and friends always came first with Liz. She was the official family “travel agent” when it was time to plan a family vacation, her organizational skills were unparalleled. Liz’s creative side was on display with her love of photography and her gift with making many different crafts. She also loved everything outdoors, including being an avid and active sports mom.
Her family will remember her as a beautiful soul who loved being a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Heaven has gained an angel.
Liz is survived by her husband, Dan Foley; son, Hayden Foley; mother, Mary Jo Perkins; father, Rick (Tresa) Perkins; sister, Mandi (Jason) Flores; brother, Josh (Jen) Perkins; father in law and mother in law; Tom and Karen Foley; brothers in law, T.J. Foley and Stephen (Hannah Ainsworth) Foley; nieces and nephews, Jonathon, Colton and Roselyn Foley, Jordan Perkins, Aubrey Flores, Hailey, Taylor and Ben Brandon and grandmothers in law, Rose Campbell and Jan Beach. Countless Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends, and more.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Richard and Clara Morden and Preston and Patricia Perkins
Funeral services will be Wednesday October 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
Visiting hours are Tuesday October 10th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to service.
