Edna D. Beaker, age 81, of Marine City died October 6, 2009. She was born May 23, 1928 in Plus, West Virginia to the late Donald and Kathleen White
Married May 24, 1947 to William C. Beaker Sr. in Ecorse, MI; he preceded her in death in 2007. Member and Past President of Marine City Lioness Club. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Beaker is survived her children; Linda (Marv) Osterland, Kathleen (Ed) Sadler, Dianna (Jerry) Bassett, Nancy (Frank) Kreusel, Bill Jr. (Cindy) Beaker, Larry (Pat) Beaker, Matthew Beaker, and Chris (Renee) Beaker. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday at Young Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Irish officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2-9pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. Additional visitation on Friday from 10-11am. Memorials are suggested to Marine City Lions Club. www.youngcolonial.com
