Mrs. Edna Lucy Loma Teltow's Obituary
Edna Lucy Loma Teltow, age 89, of Casco, passed away February 8, 2014, surrounded by her family at McLaren-Macomb Hospital after a long illness.
She was born June 10, 1924 to the late Arthur and Lettie (Fordt) Guldenstein, China Township. On October 28, 1944, Edna married Warren H. Teltow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Peters, by Reverend A.C. Hueter. They were married 49 years. She was preceded in death by Warren on April 26, 1994.
Edna was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Casco. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Keith W. and Janet Teltow; grandsons, Jason (Lauri Perry), Jeffrey and Jeremy (Kelly) Teltow; great-granddaughter, Audrey Teltow; great grandsons, Landon and Lucas Teltow; extended family, Allison, Ryan, Brooklynn, Gage and Trent; brother in law, Gerald Teltow; sister in law, Gladys Guldenstein; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, brother, Alvin Guldenstein and sisters, Esther Jones and Bernice Kaatz.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Casco, the Rev. Kristen Ulmanis will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Casco.
Visitation will be Tuesday February 11th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 12th from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to services.
