Dorothy Theresa Zacharias' Obituary
Dorothy Theresa Zacharias, age 87, of East China Twp. passed away February 12, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born October 23, 1926 in Marine City to the late George L. and Rose M. (Babel) Stephenson. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Richard Daniel Zacharias who passed on October 8, 1989.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair and the Rosary Altar Society.
Dorothy is survived by her children; Mary (Matt) Gasior of Hawaii, Daniel (Mary) Zacharias of Tucson, Beth (Chase) Edmondson of Pittsburgh, Timothy (Marie) Zacharias of St.Clair, Tina (Randy) Gross of Marysville, Jane (Shane) Standley of Tucson, and Stephen (Renee) Zacharias of Marysville. She will be loved and remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and at church from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to mass. A rosary will be said Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to Reverence Home and Health Hospice or St.Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair.
