Mrs. Dorothy Mae Percefull's Obituary
Dorothy Mae Percefull, 94, of Saint Clair died Sunday, July 7, 2013, in Saint Clair.
Dorothy was born November 8, 1918, in Highland Park, Michigan, to the late William Jones and Carrie Marshall Jones. She married Robert Ray Percefull, and they made their home in Saint Clair Shores and Ortonville. He preceded her in death.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter CarrieLyn (Gene) Gulan, her daughter Sandra (William) Jardine, and her grandchildren, Robin Chan, Carrie Owings, JulieAnne Jones, Stephanie Duffy, Matthew Brisbois, Jennifer Hogan, Murray Stewart-Jones, and William Ray Jardine. Dorothy is preceded in death by her sister, Irene and brother, Joseph. She's survived by her friend and sister-in-law, Mrs. Peggy Jones.
Dorothy worked for General Motors in the printing department. After her retirement from GM, she had an antique doll business, winning many awards and enjoying her collection. Dorothy enjoyed music and knew the lyrics to hundreds of songs. Her family will miss her banjo-playing.
Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Young Funeral Home, China Township. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. www.youngcolonial.com
