Dorothy McDonald's Obituary
Dorothy McDonald age 95, formerly of St.Clair died peacefully on April 23, 2011. She was born to the late Vern and Ethel Smith on March 29, 1916. She married Neil McDonald on October 26, 1939 in Sanilac County. He preceded her in death November 16, 1996. She enjoyed riding on her son in-law's Goldwing motorcycle.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Lee) Prater, grandchildren, Annette McFadden, Hope(Gary) Lee, Cynthia Burbeula, great-grandchildren, Brendan Lee, Evan Lee, Caitlyn McFadden, Eric Helmbrecht, sisters, MaryLou Pangburn, Vernice (Claude) Smith. She is preceded in death by her brother Harold Smith and brother in-law, Ray Pangburn.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 27 at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be at the Washington Cemetery, Carsonville. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. www.youngcolonial.com
