Dorothy Ann Jones' Obituary
Dorothy Ann Jones, age 88, of Marine City, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2018 at St. Clair Medilodge after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was born on June 17, 1929 in Marine City to the late John F. and Vannetta Shackett.
Dorothy Ann married her beloved spouse, George William “Bill” on October 15, 1949. She was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish and also a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Agatha Circle #419.
Dorothy Ann is survived by her loving children, Ann (James) Schulte, Christopher (Tammy) Jones and Catherine “Kit” (Matthew) Chase; son in law, Frank Nagy; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and daughter, Lisa Ann Nagy.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Clair Medilodge for their compassionate care.
Dorothy Ann's mass of resurrection will be Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City. Prior to mass a rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
