Doris M. Schmidt's Obituary
Doris M. Schmidt, age 90, of Ray Twp., passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019. She was born July 2, 1929 to the late Paul and Clara Schmidt. Doris worked at General Motors, Pontiac for 25 years. She was a lifetime member at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Romeo, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Doris enjoyed working on her family farm with her brother, Alvin.
She is survived by her nieces, Helena (Ted) Powell of Wisconsin, Elizabeth Schmidt of Florida; nephew, Kevin Schmidt of Florida, as well as many special family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Schmidt, Esther Schmidt, and Alvin Schmidt.
Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Romeo. Visiting hours are Sunday, November 3rd from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., as well as 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at church on Monday.
