Doris Leonard's Obituary
Doris Leonard, age 81, entered into eternal peace April 10, 2023. Doris was born January 2, 1942 to the late Leroy and Lillian Beier.
Doris enjoyed NASCAR, Tiger’s Baseball, singing karaoke, watching Marine City Football and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. Doris was a very proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved to brag about all of her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Jacque White, Sue Leonard, Debbie (Randy) Lumley and Tracy (Bernie) Osterland; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, with 2 more great grandchildren on the way this summer for a total of 20, and her dear friend and roommate Joan.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Lillian Beier; brother and sister in law, Jerry and DyAnn Beier; son, Neil Leonard and son in law, Mike White.
Doris’ family extends a special thanks to the staff at Richmond Medilodge and McLaren Hospice for their compassionate care.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday April 14th at 6:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. The family will receive visitors Friday prior to service from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
