Doris Anthony's Obituary
St. Clair-Doris Elaine Anthony, age 90, passed over to life eternal on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Doris Elaine was born February 16, 1921 to Vernon and Grace (Balfour) Muhlitner of St. Clair. Doris and John “Harry” Anthony were married October 27, 1944 when they eloped to Ohio.

Doris was a volunteer for River District Hospital as a “Pink Lady” for many years.

Most of all, Doris was a friend to everyone she met. Doris and Harry’s home was always open. People of all ages knew they were welcome to that Bree Road Home any time day or night. Maybe to get something to eat, a hot cup of coffee or just a warm smile that said “come on in”.
