Dorie Bandlow's Obituary
Dorie Bandlow, age 78, of Casco Twp., died January 8, 2017. She was born August 21, 1938 in St. Clair to the late Duane and Edna Wiley. On June 30, 1956 Dorie married Mel Bandlow in St. Clair. Mel preceded her in death on December 10, 2016.
Dorie was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Church, Anchorville. Some of the many outdoor activities she enjoyed with her husband Mel were boating, snowmobiling, camping and riding dune buggies. She also enjoyed cake decorating.
Doris is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Debbie and Ken Schweiger of Columbus Twp., Cheryl and Mike Dudek of New Haven and Lori and Brian O’Neil of Richmond; grandchildren, Kelly Schweiger, Kari (Alan) Shagena, Jim (Rachel) Schweiger, Megan (late Scott) Bajorek and Matt (fiancé Jaime) O’Neil; nine great grandchildren, twin brother, Dale Dan (Judy) Wiley and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Leanore Landschoot and brothers, Duane, Jerry and Jim Wiley.
Mass of Resurrection will be Thursday January 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Anchorville. Visiting hours are Wednesday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Thursday at church from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to mass. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Casco Twp. Serving as pallbearers are Ken Schweiger, Mike Dudek, Brian O’Neil, Jim Schweiger, Matt O’Neil, Alan Shagena and Kevin Bandlow.
