Donna Stevens' Obituary
Donna Stevens, age 61, of East China, went home to our Lord on Friday, January 2, 2015. Donna was born August 4, 1953 in St. Clair to Harold and Kennard Mitchell. Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Donna's door was always open to everyone and once you entered it you became family. She loved to read and was an avid Lion's fan. She was a member of First Congregational Church.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years; Paul Stevens, children; Judy Stevens, John (Jennifer) Basnaw, Kendra (fiancee Rick Campbell) Basnaw, Joseph Scandilito, Martika Stevens, Paul Stevens, Jr., Cleatis Stevens, Holly Phillips and Mike Basnaw. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Austin, Amber, Andrew, Emily, Mathew, Tyler, Elena, Dominick, and Olivia, brother; Robert (Patty) Mitchell, sisters; Judy (George) Allen, Kay (Rene) VandeVoorde, two step-brothers; Jim Shovan and Ed Smith, step-sister; Lee Ann, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father; Erwin James Shovan.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
