Donna Mae Simons' Obituary
Donna Mae Simons, age 93, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully December 16, 2025. She was born March 9, 1932 in Marine City to the late John and Minnie Dragmiller.
Donna was a graduate of Marine City High School. On November 29, 1952, Donna married Edward J. Simons. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage before his passing in 1985.
Donna stayed active in many ways, but her favorite was playing bingo and dancing the polka. She loved her many friends and appreciated all their help throughout the years.
Donna is survived by her children, Debbie Beedon, Cindy Weier, Randy (Susie) Simons and Lisa (Dave) Chitwood; grandchildren Brian (Sarah) Beedon, Eric Beedon (Kelly Symons), Jeff (Sarah) Crowl, Rob (Amanda) Weier, Mark (Annette) Weier, Stacey Simons (Bill Brand), Trent (Danielle) Simons, R.J. Simons (Holly Socolovich), Carter (Bonnie) Simons, Justin Chitwood (Alex Peterson), Nick Chitwood (Savannah Opp), Alex (Lexi) Chitwood and Kaci Chitwood (Zach Leonard); 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Scott Beedon and Kelli Jo Chitwood; son in law, Jerry Beedon and siblings, Evelyn Gallagher, Mabel Hallier, Norma Bassett, Melvin “Bing” Dragmiller and Jack Dragmiller.
Honoring Donna’s final wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in Donna’s name.
