Donna D. Schweihofer's Obituary
Donna D. Schweihofer, of Fort Gratiot, Mich., was born February 23, 1927 to the late Frank and Edna Socha and departed her earthly life on December 18, 2022 at the age of 95.
Donna’s children Daniel Schweihofer and Cherie Peterson along with their father Joseph Schweihofer and her brother’s, Frank and David Socha preceded her in death.
Donna is survived by her son, Michael Schweihofer; daughter, Barbara (Mike) Gaffney; son in law, Jeff Peterson; sister, Judy (Ken) Langmesser along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews that she held very close to her heart.
Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Donna’s kind and playful spirit, her love of the beach and good times and her zest for life will live on through them. Especially her two new best friends and great granddaughters, Elliott Chitwood and Rhea Mitchell.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
