Mr. Donald J. Turke's Obituary
Donald J. Turke, age 76, of China Twp., died March 10, 2013. He was born July 12, 1936 in Hamtramck to the late Edward and Antonia Turke.
On May 20, 1960 Donald married Janet Radford in Marine City.
Don retired as a foreman from Marysville Plastics. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #856, Marine City and a member of the Marysville Coin Club.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Janet Turke, children; Donald (Debra) Turke, Steven (Lorrie) Turke, David Turke and Michael J. Turke,
grandchilden; Cassandra, Tiffany (Tyler), Adam, Jonathon and Alexis, brother; Alex (Mary Ann) Turke and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son John (Becky) Turke, sisters; Irene Ross, Lorraine Pietrykowski and Sue Kindsvater. Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady on the River Parish Holy Cross Church, Marine City. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home and Thursday 11:30 to 12:30 at the church prior to mass.
