Donald Thomas Turke's Obituary
Donald Thomas Turke, age 60, of Marine City, passed away March 30, 2021. He was born October 13, 1960 to the late Donald J. and Janet Turke. On October 20, 1984 Don married Debra Yax.
Don was formerly employed with Riverside Spline and Gear and later worked many years for J.C. Cornielle in sales. Don loved surrounding himself with family and friends while spending time outdoors. He looked forward to hunting and fishing both locally and up north on the family property. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Knights of Columbus, Council #856, Marine City.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debra Turke; daughters, Cassandra (Greg) Long and Tiffany (Tyler) Cropper; grandchildren, Tristan and Trinity; brothers, Steve (Lorrie) Turke, David Turke and Mike Turke and many nieces and nephews.
Don was predeceased by his daughter, Dianna Turke and brother, John (Becky) Turke.
Visiting hours are Tuesday April 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Funeral services Wednesday at the funeral home will be private. Access to livestream of service may be found on funeral home website on Don’s page. Following the private service at the funeral home all are welcome to join the family Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Marine City for the committal service.
