Donald D. Reuba's Obituary
Donald D. Reuba, age 88, of Casco Twp. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 18, 2021. He was born September 26, 1933 to the late George and Bertha Reuba. Don married Sharon Stephenson on June 16, 1962.
Don loved to hunt, fish, camp and enjoy the great outdoors with his family and friends. He also had a passion for gardening, farming, and working on the family’s wood lots. Chicken and pheasant farming were among his favorite hobbies.
A man of many talents, he was also a well driller, machinist, mechanic, carpenter, drywaller, farmer, and sharpshooter. He always made time to lend a helping hand, give fatherly advice and celebrate the good times with friends and family. His legacy will live on through the many lives he has touched by his actions, words, and good deeds.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sharon; children, Donald (Colleen) Reuba, Jonathan Reuba, Timothy (Tracy) Reuba, Wendy (Darryl Zacharais) Reuba; grandchildren, Kayla (Dreydon) Williams, Kelsi Reuba, Timothy Reuba, Sabastian Farnsworth, Darryl Zacharais, Walter Zacharais, Don Zacharais; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Rita (Harold) Sayers, Sarah (James) Achatz; sister in laws Cheri Reuba, Cathy (Barry) Muglidge, Sharon Stephenson; brother-in-law, Philip (Kay Lehvonen) Stephenson.
Don is preceded in death by his brothers, George Reuba and Paul Reuba; sister, Margie Anderson.
A visitation will take place Friday November 26, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A private family burial will be conducted.
