Donald James Metz, age 77, of Columbus Twp., died August 3, 2012. He was born May 14, 1935 in Detroit to the late James and Anna Metz.
He is survived by his wife; Vera A. Metz, children; James D. (Amanda) Metz and Janise E. (Mark) Judkins, grandchildren; Kyla and Michaela Judkins,
step sons; Robert (Marie) Stahl, Steven (Laura) Stahl, Dan (Kathy) Stahl and Kevin (Jane) Stahl, step grandchildren; Alexandria, David, Ashley and Zach Stahl.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth Metz.
Private family services have been conducted. Memorials are suggested to East Michigan CCDA (a community center in Detroit).
Arrangements are by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
