Donald H. McLeod's Obituary
Don H. McLeod, age 76, of East China Twp., passed away December 10, 2018. He was born June 12, 1942 in St. Clair to the late Donald and Henrietta McLeod. Don retired from the Detroit Police Department following over 30 years of service. Following retirement he worked for the Clay Township Police Department. He was a member of the Detroit Police Officer Association. Don was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and shooting skeet.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth McLeod; siblings, Joe (Deborah) McLeod, Thomas (Kathy) McLeod, John (Penny) McLeod, Marie McCabe, Mary (Fizz) Fajardo, Kathy (Tom) McCabe, Jean (Ken) Vollmer, Annie (Steve) Shaw-Ferriby, Jerry (Betty) McLeod and Mike (Karla) McLeod; brothers in law and sisters in law, Morgan (Jane) Adams, Ruby Hutchinson, Elizabeth Johnson, Stella Adams, Vickie Adams, Eddie (Vickie) Adams, Karen Adams and Phyllis Adams and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be Saturday December 15th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
