Donald Manns' Obituary
Donald W. Manns, age 70, of West Branch, formerly of Yale, died June 13, 2009. Born August 3, 1938 in Peck, Michigan to the late William and Gladys Manns.
He retired as a millwright from Oak Crest Lumber in Buena Vista, Georgia.
Mr. Manns married Shirley Perry on May 1, 1981 in Sandusky. He was a member of the Faith Alive Church in St. Helen, Michigan.
Mr. Manns is survived by his wife Shirley. Children; Tina (David) Seddon of St. Clair, Teresa (Jeff) Donaghay of Sandusky, Todd Manns of Croswell, Mike (Vera) Smith of Marlette, and Bridget (John) Smith of Albany, GA. Grandchildren; Bradley, Kari, and Joel of St. Clair, Ashlee of Sandusky, Trista and Tyler of Croswell. Brothers; Marv (Beth) Manns, and Wayne (Lynda) Manns, both of Yale. Extended family; Charly, Jeffrey, Sara, Stephanie, and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his sister Susan Manns.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at Trinity Missionary Church, Yale (304 N. Street: Yale, MI 48097) at 1:30pm.
The family will receive visitors from 11am-1pm at the church prior to the service.
Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
