Donald Arthur Heise's Obituary
Donald Arthur Heise passed away peacefully in his home with his wife Saundra by his side after a long illness on December 15, 2024 at the age of 82.
Donald was born October 1, 1942 to the late Milton and Edna in Gormley, Ontario, Canada where he spent his early years working on the family farm. He moved to the United States at the age of 23 in 1965. He then began his career with the Detroit Edison working as a lineman and then retired as a supervisor in 2001 after 36 years of service.
Don was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge #498 in Marysville and served as Worshipful Master several times over the course of his membership. He enjoyed boating and living on the river. Don and Saundra had many motorcycle adventures and enjoyed spending their winters in Mexico Beach, Florida. They also enjoyed traveling across the United States and Canada in their 5th wheel.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Saundra of 34 years. Donald and Saundra created a beautiful blended family of 3 children; Kim (Gregg) Hingers, David (Judy) Heise and Jeannie (Paul) Everett.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Lauren (Ben) McNeil, Alyssa Kennedy, David James (Jamie) Heise, Jonathon Heise, Matthew Heise, Kayla Hatten, Sarah and Allie Everett and 4 great-grandchildren, along with his loving sister; Brenda Heise of Victoria, British Columbia and several nieces, nephews and cousins from Canada, South Africa and Paris, France.
There will be a Family and Friends Gathering of Memories/Luncheon at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Voyageur in St. Clair.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blue Water Humane Society, www.bluewaterareahs.animalservices. . A private interment at Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
