I had the great pleasure of calling Don Dupre my friend for over four decades. He brought me into his group of friends back when we were in high school because that was just the kind of person he was. While I was not very good at staying in touch as we got older, Don (and Beth) would always make an effort to make some time to catch up whenever I would make my way back to town. My condolences to his other friends and his family as we mourn and remember a GREAT man!

The Dupre family moved into the old farm house next to me was I was a young teen. It did not take long to become friends with the entire family, they were all kind and excepting. My second time meeting my late wife Amy was at there house where I hit her in the head with a snowball while playing with Donny and David. Donny was a polite and friendly young boy, and that stayed with him his entire life. He once asked to try my chewing tobacco and it did not go well, of course Donny got sick and Joyce proceeded to scold me for letting him try it. My heart goes out to Beth and the entire family, Donny was a true shining star he will truly be missed.
