Donald DuMars' Obituary
Donald Earl DuMars, age 76, of Harsens Island, passed away peacefully with his son Steve by his side at St. John's River District Hospital. Donald worked for Chrysler Corporation from 1952 to 1982 as a pattern maker/machinist until retirement.
He owned and operated Island Trucking and was a volunteer for the Harsens Island fire department. Don loved scuba diving and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his children; Bill (Janet) DuMars, Steve (Nancy) DuMars, and Judy (Jeff) Maniaci. Grandchildren; Caitlyn DuMars, Dawn (Brian) Yager, Amanda (Dave) Holloway, Troy and Jeffrey Maniaci, great grandchildren; Cheyenne and Nya Yager.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cosmos and Ida Mae DuMars and brothers; Brook, Rodney, and Jerry.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
