I had the privilege of working with this most excellent person at Sutherland Lumber in MWC Oklahoma when we were both barely 20yrs old. Don quickly became one of the best friends I've ever had in my life. His awesome sense of humor was the first but not the only one of his incredible attributes I came to deeply admire. He was driven to succeed and very physically fit doing 1000 pushups a day. Girls flocked to him and everybody wanted to be his friend except the few guys that were jealous of his super good looks and charm. Not long after we started hanging out together, he traded his old clunker in for a jeep renegade and I can still see him driving that thing with the top and doors off red hair flying in the wind. His passing is real loss for the world. I am a better person for having been his friend and even though our lives took different paths, I never forgot him always hoped we'd get to spend time together again. Don, I will never forget you and I'm sure anyone that ever had the honor to know you will cherish the times they spent with you as I do. Goodbye for now buddy.
