Don Bartlett Richards' Obituary
Don Bartlett Richards, age 89, of St. Clair, passed away surrounded by his family on August 25, 2018. He was born October 11, 1928 to the late Peter and Grace Richards. Don graduated Alma College with his Bachelor’s Degree of Science. Following college, Don went into to the United States Air Force in 1952. He worked as an immigration officer for almost 3 decades. Don had a lifelong passion for music. He played, wrote, sang, and recorded.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Richards; children, Robert Richards and Amy Richards (Christopher Kuist); twin brother, Rex Richards, as well as many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Eugenia Richards.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair or the St. Clair Theater Guild.
