Dianne C. Sanders' Obituary
Dianne C. (Malcolm) Sanders, age 78, of Marysville, formerly of Marine City, went home to be with the lord on August 15, 2024. She was born October 13, 1945, in Algonac to the late Wilfred and Goldie Malcolm.
On February 14, 1986, Dianne married Gary Sanders in Lake Havasu, Arizona. He preceded her in death in 2001.
Dianne was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Her church and her family were the two most important parts of her life. Dianne's devotion to her children and grandchildren was unmatched. She was also very proud to be part of the "Malcolm Clan" and had a special bond with all her siblings. She enjoyed going to garage sales with Lorna and Belinda and watching freighters with Donna and Wayne. Her love of baking and her delicious baked goods will be missed by many, especially her carrot cake and Christmas cookies.
Dianne is survived by her children, John (Becky) Szymanek of Indiana, Monica (Mark) Coffelt of Kimball Twp. and Robert Szymanek of Marysville; grandchildren, Michael (Tarah) Szymanek, Thomas (Katee) Szymanek, Brianna (Jake) Dunn, Dayton Szymanek, Brandon (Samantha) Poole, Taylor (Sylas) Stone, Mark Coffelt Jr., and many great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Virginia (Keith) Muxlow, Reginald "Jr." (Joyce) Malcolm, Roger (MaryJo) Malcolm and Allan (Carol) Malcolm, and many nieces and nephews.
Dianne is predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Donnie, Keith (Barb), Richard (Penny), and Bill (Lorna) Malcolm, and sisters, Marilyn (Charlie) Brusate and Sharon (Bud) Erdman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Young Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp.
