Dianne Sharon Ritter's Obituary
Dianne Sharon Ritter, age 82, of Casco Twp., passed away unexpectedly in the peace of her own home on April 23, 2026. She was born August 31, 1943 in Minden City, Michigan to the late Edwin and Helen Kirsch.
On June 27, 1964 Dianne married Gary Ritter in Forestville. Gary preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage in 2020.
Dianne was a talented crafter. She loved sewing and making items for her grandchildren. It was also a special time for her when she was able to work on crafting projects with her grandchildren. Dianne looked forward to spring each year. She had a green thumb and would plant and garden of beautiful flowers. The birds knew Dianne’s home well, her feeder was always full along with a special treat of grape jelly.
Dianne is survived by her children, Tammy (Michael) Pyles, Gary (Terri) Ritter, Mike (Lisa) Ritter and Craig (Lee C.) Ritter.
She is also survived by 10 cherished grandchildren including Heather, Brittany and Emma, who were of great assistance and companionship in Dianne’s later years. Five beautiful great grandchildren also survive her along with sisters in law, Kathy Kirsch and Judy Kirsch.
Dianne was preceded in death by her brothers, Dale and Jim Kirsch.
Dianne was a devoted wife, loving mother and cherished grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed. As a kind remembrance of Dianne, take time to plant a flower or fill your bird feeder and smell the flowers and listen to the birds sing.
