Sympathy to the entire Morse family
I taught school with Denny in Algonac for many years. I always I enjoyed his company and remember time spent in the teachers lounge. His conversations and bantering with George Richardson and Tom Witherspoon were always entertaining. He will be missed by many. Condolences to the family.

Denny and I were neighbors for many years and have lots of great memories of our growing up together. I remember when my brother Don would let us play football with him and his friends only if we promised not to cry and tell on them for playing too rough.
I was Water Boy for the Holy Cross High School Basket Ball Team when I was in Grade School for Coach Denny, then I was a player for him when I got to High School and a team mate after high school in the Men's Rec leagues. The stories of Holy Cross Basket Ball games in the East Side Catholic League when Denny Coached are legendary, some remind me of scenes from the movie "Hoosiers" some from the movie "Bad News Bears". I always enjoyed his company he will be missed, Rest In Peace Coach.
Happy Birthday Denny!
There are just no words to express the sadness of the loss of your father. I have known Denny for 56 years and i’m going to miss the laughs and conversations about old times. Den was obviously loved by so many, I don’t remember him ever saying an unkind word about anyone, Always willing to help out where he could and he was so incredibly proud of his children . I remember after Tim Beckett , Rick Paige and Don Lipa passed he was so sad to have lost his buddies that he grew up with. Now they are together again and probably telling a lot of big fish stories. Your dad was truly a great guy and I know he is going to be missed terribly. Rest in peace Denny.

Sympathy to Denny and his family. I had the pleasure of knowing Denny through
The St. Clair Hunt and Fish Club over the last 40 plus years. Rick Tyhurst, Mathew Tyhurst and Benjamin Tyhurst
I played baseball for Coach Morse at AHS in the early 90s. He was always a patient and kind guy, and very loyal to his players (even though my teams underperformed). He was also a creative coach, and not above deploying trick plays (the most memorable one we called “ribeye”) to keep things interesting. I was always fond of him, and I’m sorry that I lost touch over the years. My condolences to his family.
