Dean Vargo's Obituary
Dean Vargo, age 53, of Port Huron, passed away December 8, 2021. He was born May 22, 1968 in East China to Tony and Mary Vargo. He married Tonia Vollmers on May 1, 2004. Dean graduated from St. Clair High School in 1986. Upon graduation he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He owned and operated Jester Signs. He also was a tattoo artist. Dean was also an accomplished artist, with some of his works on active aircrafts that are now on display at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda, MI and Dayton, Ohio. He was currently serving as 2nd Vice of the Amvets Post 72 in New Haven and was a life member of the American Legion in Oscoda.
He is survived by his wife; Tonia Vargo, his children; Jasmine (Tyler) Root, Olivia Vargo, Kayleigh (Nick) Pitre, Kyle (Taryn) Winters, Brendan (Rachel) Winters, Angel Erikson and Caleb Morissette, his grandchildren; Mikiah, Raylee, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Arielle.
He is also survived by his parents; Tony and Mary Vargo, his sisters; Dawn (Dave) Boulier and Darci (Keith) McGuire, his grandmothers; Elizabeth Vargo and Betty Rocker, along with his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents; Stephen Vargo, Gerald and Myrtle Rocker.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 15 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Amvets presentation and Military honors will begin at 4:45 p.m.
