Dean Arnold's Obituary
Dean Arnold, age 68, of St. Clair, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly in his home on July 19, 2025.
Born in St. Clair to Elinor Grimm and Lawrence Arnold, Dean was the youngest of eight children. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Denny, Delbert, Darrell, Danny, Don, and Debbie. He is survived by his brother Doug, and his honorary brother Dennis Ellery. (The whereabouts of his brother David are currently unknown.)
Dean was formerly married to Scarlett Mousseau. Together they raised two children, Jesse and Desirée. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces, nephews, and cherished by both his extended family and chosen family.
He spent his career serving the community through his work with the City of St. Clair Department of Public Works. Known for his larger-than-life personality and unmistakable voice, Dean was a born storyteller, an hour with him often came with a laugh, and a detour—or three.
Dean had a deep love for the Michigan outdoors, especially camping and taking scenic drives in one of his many “project” cars. He held a particular pride in a freshly mowed lawn and built lasting friendships in the town he called home. He will be remembered for his boisterous spirit.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 31st at the Arnold family home. The gathering starts at 3 p.m. with a meal and sharing time beginning at 4 p.m. Please RSVP for further details. https://partiful.com/e/cgnUtSnrDVQVmNtKrN6e
