I met Dave Ziegenbein through his wonderful wife, Barb, who worked with me at St. Mary's Catholic School in St. Clair. When I first met Dave, I didn't know how to take him. As I got to know him, I fell in love with him and his dry sense of humor. Dave is a good man who enriched my life greatly by his presence. Barb, please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of your husband and friend.

While working and celebrating Mass at St. Mary Parish in St. Clair Dave always made me smile. He always had a funny comment he made with such a straight face I had to think about it before I would laugh. Always had me on my toes. Will miss bumping into him at the grocery store as well. Will miss your physical presence here on Earth but your spirit lives on.
